About Me

Welcome to Chicago South Suburban’s only choice for insurance!

August is National Black Business Month. As a proud Black-owned small business, we're honored to celebrate National Black Business Month and the entrepreneurs whose hard work, innovation, and leadership strengthen our community every day.

At our State Farm agency, we're committed to helping individuals, families, and fellow small business owners protect what matters most with personalized auto, home, life, and business insurance.

The Carl Henderson State Farm Insurance Agency has been serving the entire state of Illinois since 1987. Our bilingual staff has over 60 years of insurance experience and is ready to help. Call us today, we would love to talk to you about your insurance.

We are a little bit different than your typical insurance agency. We not only provide Auto Insurance and Home Insurance for which State Farm Insurance is known for, but we also provide Life Insurance and Health Insurance as well as Business Insurance, Financial Services, Boat Insurance and Pet Insurance. We would love to be your “one stop shop” for all of your insurance needs.

Our commitment is to be your personalized risk advisor. We will be here to help you with anything that is troubling or with any of your concerns. We aim to be the ‘Good Neighbors’ that State Farm is known for and always have an open door to invite you in! Our goal as a team is to work with you to help life go right!

We serve the entire state of Illinois, including but not limited to, the counties of Cook, Will, DuPage, Kane, McHenry, Lake, Grundy, Kendall and Kankakee. Our team is devoted to helping new and current State Farm Insurance customers moving or relocating to Chicago’s south suburbs, south side, north side, west side, east side, downtown, west suburbs, north suburbs, central Illinois and southern Illinois.

Over the last 30 plus years my insurance agency has been successful in earning multiple State Farm Insurance Awards including the State Farm Ambassador’s Club, State Farm Bronze and Silver Scroll for my office.

I graduated from Illinois State University’s College of Industrial Technology in 1977, and I also played basketball for the Redbirds. I went to Hirsch High School in Chicago and was a member of the state championship basketball team in 1973. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching all Chicago sports teams, playing golf and traveling.
